2013 STIHL Tour des Trees to benefit the TREE Fund

Healthy trees are rooted in research!
 

Urban trees are up against it.

Insects, disease, pollution, development and inexpert tree care practices pose a constant threat to the canopies that shade our lives. The money raised by the STIHL Tour des Trees underwrites the antidote: research into how to keep urban trees healthy and the tree care workforce safe, and education for our children to inspire them to care for the urban forests of the future.

The Tour des Trees, begun in 1992, is the signature fundraiser of the Tree Research & Education Endowment Fund (TREE Fund). To date the Tour has raised $5.6 million for the TREE Fund while championing the cause of responsible public stewardship and expert professional care for the world's urban forests.
